The Use of Transformational Technology

We think of the term transformational technology as a mindset. It is easiest understood if we frame the definition as a question.

"Could we have done this without the use of our technology?"

This question can be broken down into two separate questions...
  1. Could the student have produced this work without the use of his/her technology
  2. Could the teacher have created this lesson or task without the use of technology?

Transformational Technology and the Teacher

"The use of transformational technology also applies to the process of creating engaging lessons and tasks, while developing professional relationships with other like minded individuals or groups."

"Could the teacher have created this lesson or task without the use of technology?"

These pamphlets will serve as a personalized introduction to the students' new teacher/s and help their teachers understand what their LDs are, how LDs affect their learning and what the teachers can do to help them succeed.
